we brought ours over and it works tv didnt have any sound but was told by other expats to buy a digital tv box and it works good look joanne:thumbsup:

we are in brisbane we bought a 50 inch samsung plasma last month and it cost $1500 that was cheaper in the uk things are pretty much the same there are loads of bargains at the moment friend of mine...

thats the two of us,as we do like it here but the none existant work situation just makes it a nigthmare and the bottom line is always money,dont know how they compile the so called critical skills...

regarding job sites tried most of them,hays is one of the main agencys here for chippys have registered with them you will see they are advertiseing for carpenters all over but none of there jobs...

hello eveyone after some help off any fellow chippys made the jump and hav been in brisbane 4months tried the internet and courier mail to find a job but to no availe after any advice to find work...
