Near Vejer, where the old La Janda lagoon used to be, the river has burst its banks, and you can imagine how it used to look back when it was all under water.

I like the glass fibre matting with white rubber paint. On our flat roof it has been a godsend. Plus it can be sculpted to shift water where you want it to go.

Well, I was told this has been the wettest and coldest winter for a very long time. Last year 1st of January I was sitting on the beach eating tapas in my shirt sleeves.

It was to be honest one of the vilest pieces of alleged meat that I have ever eaten, and I spat it out and scraped my tongue clean.
