My husband receives a monthly UK army pension which is paid into UK bank account. He was paying a bit more tax on this in UK as it was a second income and took him over the higher taxable threshold....

Hi yeh think you do (well solicitor seems to think we are entitled to it). The FTHBG applies if you have never owned a property in Australia only:)

Yes they have - so hopefully the refund we get back from the UK end will almost cover the tax we will pay in July when we declare it to tax people this end.
