They accepted my 6 years no claims from Ireland(they take UK no claims as well). Was the cheapest quote I got.

I pay $2200 per year...

I, personally, find it strange that in order to obtain Canadian citizenship you have to swear allegiance to an old lady(head of state or not she is a foreign non-resident head of state) living...

How does this option work exactly? A friend of mine's application for the CEC visa was too late for one of the 8000 spots. He is going to apply for EE and has a permanent skilled job with a bank....

Well our visa journey came to an end yesterday when we got our COPR :thumbup:

We collected in person at MacDonald House, was dead easy!

We then felt it appropriate to head to the Maple Leaf pub...

Don't you have the option of going to the embassy in person and dropping off you passports? I think then you can collect them 2 weeks later and it saves waiting on the post? I may be wrong, I was...

Chin up, you only finished your meds in mid-Jan so only approx 8 weeks ago, so you could get PPR in the next few weeks, you never know

Medicals completed yesterday! Took just over an hour for the 2 of us to be done, bloods taken, then a medical check over and urine sample with the Dr and finally the chest x-ray

Dr said all fine...
