80970ACT - Course in Electrician - Minimum Australian Context Gap

Hi There...
Just arrived in Oz (Perth) and need to get this course out of the way. I have had a quote of $2500.00 from Polytechnic West.
Can I do this cheaper anywhere else in Perth?? Any further...

Thanks for the replies... Is this still the case? I heard that they blocked that path as well... Also as i had to do vetassess to get the 175 visa...am i right in assuming that they will...

Im just checking this 2 week Tafe 1788 - Course In Electrical Trade Licensing
Am I right in assuming that I pay permanent resident rates for the course??

What does this visa let me do?...

I did Vetassess in about 2010, so as you can imagine things have changed a little since my enthusiastic hoop jumping days.... years ago. Well i am now heading to Perth in Sept this year...

I would go State sponsored. As you are on the csl this will put you at No 2 in priority. If not you will be No 4 on the priority processing list. Do you want to go ASAP??

Sorry mine is a 175, MODL submitted on the 21st july 2009.
I suppose it doesnt make a difference if I was mislead or not with 9-23!
Except that I could be diving in the red sea with the £450...

Actually the the medical check said outstanding and the other individual ones said 'required' (on the opening page of the online progress report)

Now the page shows : medical check ( health...

Yes that is true. Mine originally said medicals required with a link to the forms.
But then the page changed saying: application-processing commenced.
The new page was something like this:

This is almost exactly how you get tested on the dol starter. I say almost as I have forgotten the correct symbols for the individual components. But that is very close!! The contactor, start, stop...
