And Stephen Hawking says Remain: I'm not going to win an argument with him.
You are both correct .

Best of both worlds (for now), single market access and out of Schengen/Euro and that's what I meant by 'having your gateau blah.' Really no need for the abuse, big man.

Brilliant, brilliant news, the currency markets called it wrong (as did the pollsters) again, there will be uncertainty and short term volatility, but in the medium term UK will be stronger.

Currency markets are always so wrong. I never touch them.

Are you drunk or something, it's been inevitable for the past half hour or more!

Will be transferring large sums home soon

I am still reeling, somewhat gobsmacked, after all the negative news yesterday. Went to bed at 11 PM a bit depressed after hearing about the record turnouts but it niggled at me that perhaps there was a chance the record turnout wasn't necessarily for Remain. If turnout was higher than in 2015 that implied many people voted who didn't in the general election and why would those additional people be voting Remain? They can't all be students.

Seems like my instinct was right.

Some smug smiles are being wiped off as they wake up this morning. There's something slightly pleasurable about that (but perhaps counterbalanced by how annoying Iggles will be).

I'll be glued to the results today and the papers and analyses and watching Chukka Umunna on BBC as he realise his career is over and Labour is has only just fallen further down the rabbit hole of paralysis and irrelevancy (by about a mile or two, no kilometres, thank you very much, I'm British). A few pints in Nigel's honour must be seen to later today.

O ye of little faith.

Theer thy are, the working folk have spoken, you can stick your polls, your David Cameron and your confidence-weighted Sterling indices, and your Paddy Ashdown tweets, where your European Norm dimmed torch bulbs don't shine. The BBC is blaming it on the North. As a Donny lad I shall wear that as a metrosexual smear of pride. A great day for democracy and a big middle finger to the we know bests. We have had enough. Adelante, compañeros.
