I have a feeling Iggle pronounces croissants with that final "s".

Think of it as, intelligence. A sound reasoning that whilst the EU isn't perfect, it doesn't get changed by running away from it.

It's akin to stopping a football match and kicking the ball in the river because you're losing.

Actually, I found most French people wonderful if you actually make some effort to try and speak some French properly and learn to read a little French.

It's French bureaucracy that can be difficult for foreigners at times.

I marry one of those Froggy Frenchies in September. She does not speak one word of English. She thinks France is beautiful but has one problem. Its full of stupid English expats. Except me of course Voted leave weeks ago, fingers crossed.

No it's actually like having your cake, having to surrender the knife to someone who cuts the cake into 28, shares it out, and your guests like it so much they decide to stay to see if there is any more. Then you are forced to be constantly baking cakes to feed your guests who after time move in and are no longer guests but now they legitimately entitled to a piece of the cake.
Then you find that your new found housemates are not eating the cake but sending it home and profiting from it.

I have no issue with immigration or with helping or feeding the needy, but as Iggle raised the point, immigration from the EU is a pisstake, they are abusing the system, subsistence money from UK government can build a house in East Europe.
Every system is open to abuse but UK welfare state money should be used and stay in the UK.not sure food stamps are the answer, but surely a system can be devised.
Guys in the commercial world would solve this in a heartbeat, but it all has to be so politically correct nowadays.
Fundamental reason why EU is flawed, we will stay in on this vote but it'sonly a matter of time before it disintegrates anyway.

so no its not having your cake and eating it

....

All that and the hoover thing

Did the actual specifications change? Not on any of the construction projects I've worked on.

The UK helped draft the EN standards, which apply EU-wide. This helps the companies I've worked for such as Bouygues and Vinci, because they are working to 28 different standards in 28 different countries. One standard covers all 28 member states.

Pretty sure they are copied the old BS, maybe the slight change - nothing drastic.

No it just winds me up, that i now have to reference EN spec. Or someone says, sorry Mr Iggles that BS specification is out of date. It's just another way the EU are controlling us.

Aww diddums......

So you're basically whining that it's EN instead of BS even though the two letters are the only changes. Grow up!

As you're hiring in a non-EU country, why wouldn't applicants use the general CV format for your country and industry?
