Yes- it seems to have been something that really hasn't developed much
in the 12 years since I first used it. Accessibility issues aside, it
would have to be really special (and the preview doesn't indicate that)
for me to want to use it, other than in a gimmicky way.

That's what I have always wondered.
Impressive as it may be, I can type almost as fast as I can speak, and
I can also use many other functions at the same time. I'd be surprised
if speech recognition ever replaced anything else.
