In other words, Mediterranean cultures are truly sophisticated.
In fact, you hear a lot of people asking what kinds of clothing will
lable them as American tourists in Italy. I once saw a young American
in Florence who was wobbling down the sidewalk guzzling a bottle of
beer. She got far more shocked stares from Italians than any tourist
in white trainers, believe me.
I suppose that according to William Black, it's proof that Italians
are even less sophisticated than Americans.

Less tolerant certainly.
I mean, who gets shocked at a drunk?

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.
Barbeques on fire by the chalets past the castle headland
I watched the gift shops glitter in the darkness off the Newborough gate
All these moments will be lost in time, like icecream on the beach
Time for tea.

Vulgarity is not praised in these shores.
... I mean, who gets shocked at a drunk?
Anyone who drinks moderately and/or has too much self-respect to drink in the streets. Why
do you ask?

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.
Barbeques on fire by the chalets past the castle headland
I watched the gift shops glitter in the darkness off the Newborough gate
All these moments will be lost in time, like icecream on the beach

" "Whatever your views are on brothels, it is against the law to run one."
Apart from members of Scarborough CID, the raid team included financial
investigators and members of the neighbourhood policing
team.
Neighbours said they were shocked after they saw two marked police vans arrive
at the scene at about 2pm and a large number of officers go into the house."
The neighbours obviously thought the police were customers taking advantage of
the off peak group booking rates offered to local officials.
