pleased for you got there in the end! one thing to bear in mind is the community fee,how many apartments are filled or will be filled on completion? "ghost complexes" are a problem across the border,with the few owners making the shortfall.

Jeff..is the community charge the same as the condiminium fees.I know that if the apartments in a block are 50%+ unsold then its down to Duja....above that then its down to the one's who have bought.
My wallet gets even emptier !

yes paul they are the same, it may be worthwhile to go on owners direct web site and contact several owners on phase 1.......caution could be the bye word here!!!

Phase 1.....the buyers did not pay anything to start off with as under 50% had completed.I've no idea how many have been sold now but must be over 50% as they are now paying the condiminium charge.....works out to 900 euro's a year...they are paying 75 euro's a month.

I don't know how it all works when a company is appointed but will have to keep eye on the ball to ensure competitive.....I think they supply the loungers & mattresses,have the pool cleaned daily and water the palm trees..the person who comes round also puts the loungers away late on.
They have to maintain the complex but as new shouldn't involve too much..and they must have something set up with emergencies involving the lifts (I would be very warey about using if there was only the 2 of us in the block and we get stuck inside it ! !)

If we have somebody on phase 1 perhaps they can clarify..the buyer who told me on phase 1 not really tuned in to this sort of thing

Ha your right about the lifts you could starve to death in low season!!...was out there just before xmas stayed in phase 1, lift was handy for the luggage although as you say only one at a time.

does the community charge differ from phase to phase,not too sure how many have bought on phase 3 or is it based on the whole 3 phases.?

we are on the rail side facing the pool on the ground floor its a nice lookout :cool:

Hi there, we got our letter from duja and our date is 10th March. Tell me something is it ok for the solicitor to sign for you ? as we are struggling to get over there on that date. All our furniture is in a warehouse over the border in Spain they are just waiting for the nod, it's been there for the past 8 months. Duja said we could put it in the apartment but we thought otherwise. what will happen to all the White goods in the kitchen reg'd the warrenty's etc ?

If you give your solicitor power of attorney he will be able to sign on your behalf.

we havent moved in any furniture yet, will do that when we have signed but we are very happy with the apartment and area whether its an investment not too sure:cool:
