If you have gone private have you had to get your medical details from the GP first?
What's involved in the medicals? Are you going private for speeding up the process or because GP cannot do it?
Not sure why I am asking, because I do not think I've done well on the interview stage. 🤔

I thought my interview wasn't the best, an 1hr 45mins.

My GP practice only has one Dr who does this sort of thing and he works once a week. It's not a guarantee that he can even do it....

So not straight forward. It kind of goes back to my question earlier in the thread about two medicals.

I know quite a few people who have asked the same Q re two medicals and we definitely need to. One is to satisfy WAPOL and has some occupational questions on it (P58) and the visa one is to satisfy immigration and requires blood tests and chest x-Ray

For the visa medical, follow this link
https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/help...h-examinations
In the link at the bottom go to the page for the UK,that willlist the places you can have the medical. it involves blood tests and x-ray as you say, but also basic eyesight, hearing and general medical questions, and stuff like testing your reflexes.
You will not be told the results, they are sent straight to Immigration.

I thought the initial articles last year said over 1000 but a quick google now lots of news at merciless say 750.

I went on their info session when they was in London and pretty sure they say over 1000 and seemed like would be an ongoing thing.
