Mine was HR only, when my line manager asked could they complete it as there’s a lot of character type questions within the form they were explicitly told no. Generic HR one only.

Based on roughly 4/5 interviews a day, that's about 132/165 candidates interviewed, about 33%/45% pass rate....

It's all guess work, a lot didn't get through the online tests apparantly.

I wonder how much the references play a part.

We've yet to have anyone come forward and say they have received an unsuccessful response at any stage... unless I mistaken. I presume wapol will notify us if unsuccessful.

I'll put my hands up and I don't think my interview went well. I don't think a generic HR reference is great or will help me.

I never failed an interview until I joined the police, there just not straight forward questions in my mind. I'm a do'er rather than a talker.

they said 3 to 6 weeks to hear back.

I had my interview this morning. Said that the interview will now sit with a panel and be informed in the next 2 to 6 weeks.

Hey all, I've been following the thread of 'Dread' but found it insightful so far... I completed my interview and am waiting for a result.

Like many others my references were forwarded to HR and I contacted WAPOL who confirmed they received my reference which is a single generic HR one. WAPOL responded with ' That being said, a number of forces around the country appear to be doing the same, so you’re in the same position as a lot of applicants.'

hope to hear something positive as we've been looking to get to Aus for 5 years!
