Nearly 4weeks since my psychological interview.
My mind is thinking all sorts, can't be too long off knowing either way.
Good luck tomorrow Jamesg177

does anyone know the rough time frame from psychology interview to hearing further?
the lady doing my interview said the recruitment are trying to push people through faster now but that’s 3 weeks ago and not heard anything

Just finished a weeks course at the Academy.
Had a good chat with a few of the trainers. They are looking to put 1,000 cops, Recruits and Transitionals through the Academy next year. They plan to achieve this by recruiting an additional 70 instructors ( a gig I quite fancy once my minimum tenures up later this year), and running 2 day shifts and one arvo shift of courses.

Jamesg177 Dude no.... I messaged nearly 3 weeks ago now. Had an email saying just quality checking now and I'd hear in a couple of weeks.... 3 weeks ago.
Just hoping it's not a no now and hoping they are kinda waiting for an indication of visa time scales? From those who have submitted.
I'll wait till the 11th June, that'll be 2 months then since the psychological assessment. 🙈🙈

Sparcs75 …..Oh that’s not good, me and the Mrs want to go travelling a few months first which won’t really be able to do in the winter so need to know one way or the other really.
plus don’t know if I have to do the medical here for visa if this is where the visa is lodged, again meaning can’t travel or have to try get back just for medical.
I’m putting the house up for sale etc anyway as we plan to go aus regardless (Mrs is a Kiwi) but kinda in limbo on what to do or what can do at the moment.
I might give them a call later/tomorrow as I’m on night duty tonight see if they know any kind of timeframe

Yeah, everything is in limbo for me. Mossy1986 was given a start date before April 2024.
I have all paperwork ready to go and still would have the visa process to get through and the visa medical, which I know there is nothing wrong with the family, but it's still and unknown .... Plus sell the house.... Although I would have thought that should be straight forward, to a degree... 🙈

If you’re good to go with the visa and everything ready I would have thought that would be quick.
I done a partners visa during COVID as it said would take up to 36 months but I had it back approved in about 3 weeks
most likely be the house that takes longer

A subsection 461 partner visa, live work do anything for 5 years just not join police as need to be permanent resident.
scary to have to think of something else to do which is why this recruitment was the perfect answer when it come up
