Homemade pizza-for the first time ever.
The tomato sauce is made and the dough is resting. This could be an utter disaster of course but the King of Bland should like it.
I made stuffed tomatoes [for him] and peppers for me yesterday. Stuffed with rice, mince, onion, garlic and spices which prompted whinging about it being too 'herby' I only added a bit of cardamom, coriander, cinnamon and cumin-you could taste them but they weren't exactly overwhelming

To be fair he was reluctant to say anything, I could see the brain cells whirring away trying to find the least offensive way of phrasing it [especially since we've just bought an extremely heavy cast iron frying pan...] The deal is that if I make them again I stuff his first and then add the interesting ingredients to mine It's just frustrating that he never likes anything even remotely different.
Tomorrow he will have to fend for himself-I am cooking myself a curry and I like them hot
