Speaking of TV shows. The second season of Last Tango in Halifax starts this month on BBC 1. I really enjoyed the first season, so I am looking forward to the next installment.

I've just started watching this program and also do enjoy it so glad they are making some more. Our Downton Abbey new series opens on 5th Jan yippee. As to it being popular, my sister in Cape Town have just finished ep 3 and her friend had a 50'th birthday bash as "Downton Abbey" dinner and dress up. the Photos were fantastic, everyone either bought clothes (retro stores) or hired something to wear and my sis said that granny's tea set and silverware finally came in handy :D

Hey Rod...

Leverage is a great little series, we really enjoyed it, most of it was shot in Portland Oregon although they act like its set on the East coast...

I think there were 5-6 seasons, Sadly it has now finished...

Have you ever watched the British show called Hustle, its a similar type of show, give it a look after you've finished watching Leverage...

Must say that after the shocker a few weeks back, they haven't been too sensationalist but I do feel that the stories are being tweaked just to satisfy the American audience.

The writer of Downton Abbey, Julian Fellowes, is in the midst of writing a kind of American version of Downton Abbey, a series based on the Vanderbilts.

Apparently this is why the current series of DA is 'disjointed' as he is too busy concentrating on his other new project. (Source - Mail on Sunday, 10th November).

Reading a book by Julian Fellowes called "snobs" an amusing little book - he certainly knows about the "toffs"

Well, that was a good one, all the right ingredients without being too contrived. I was worried they might have a house fire or World War Three, just to make it exciting.

Maggie Smith is the greatest.

Did this via Facebook yesterday am. I'm in Doncaster and hubby's in Hull. I think it was the pear cider that pulled me south a bit.
