I have all of my documents for my work visa but I am waiting for the degree attestation. Is there a way to get a letter of exemption for them to process the work visa with degree authentication pending?

Also if they try to put me on a business visa can I say I don't want to be put on a business visa and I will wait for a work visa. Has anyone experienced that?

You need a Saudi driving licence to drive. You can get your international licence converted but only if you are a man. You need to do a blood test as part of the licence application.

There is a car rental facility at NC1.

various departments have cars, either pool cars or allocated to the department seniors but once you have obtained a local driving licence I believe you can coordinate with colleagues for shared use on the weekends.

not sure on this one, I am fortunate to have a licence issued in the Middle East (Qatar), and I am advised this makes it somewhat easier. Not started this process yet but I am sure someone else can advise.

I have a question about Neom Community School. I was told that the school would be posting jobs in January but so far nothing. I have read (on this forum) that there is a housing shortage in Neom so I am putting two and two together and assuming the delay is because of the housing issue...? Can anyone shed any light on when/if they will be advertising?

Hi All, Iam joining Neom in March with family following in April/May. We have toddler and was wondering if there is nursery/play school in NC2 or only in NC1?

There are no facilities in NC2 for kids.

Hello we are in a very similar situation. The NEOM school is in NC1 and they enroll 2 and up. Enrolling your children will put you in a higher priority to going to NC1. If your family will be there before May 8th you can get in this year if not then you can get them enrolled for next academic year. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
