I have an interview on Monday for a radio station in Drumheller, Drum FM (yes I know I moved from there to come to Stettler and didn't want to commute thats why I left the bank hahaha - but as jobs are a bit hard to come by at the mo I'm gonna go for it.)
Its working in the advertising and promotions bit with my good friend here - but she's actually suggested to the boss that I would make a good co-host for the morning show
Could you just bloody imagine that - no swearing or anything
But even if its filing papers and fetching coffee i'll be keeping these and socking it to em

Driving back home now.Problem is with the rigs being so slow its not like it was a few years back when anyone could get run off and then just go to another drilling company. Theres just nothing about.
I feel shitty for him as its hit him hard - he's been a driller for the last 7 years so something doesn't add up as to the reasons they gave - ie his crew aren't performing???? wtf ok so he's got some green roughnecks but he's always been a good driller and all his crew old and new have had good things to say about him - and holy shit does he ever know his stuff.
Like I said something not quite right but its not him that calls the shots eh.
Anyone fancy swapping a calm life for a turbulent one
And didn't mention this on FB either as its not my place to spill the beans to mutual friends about whats just happened. On here its more anonymous.

didn't put that bit on FB because it was just a suggestion from Jody to the boss, and if any of my friends from Drum read it and get the wrong impression and then its get to the boss of the station that "he's employing a girl as a co-host" when nothings even been discussed????
