I thank you both. My OH told me of someone actually being pecked, not quite to death but into mortal fear, by a cockeral and that caused me to shout "Read all abaht it..." which, in turn, caused her to question my sanity to more than the usual degree.

Weekend TV was always wrestling on World of Sport, commentary by Kent Walton, such favourites as Mick McManus, Big Daddy, one I'm sure was Gorgeous George Gillette, loads more whose names I can't remember. Saturday night was match of the Day, Sunday was Sunday Night at the London Palladium.
