May be so - but you'd struggle to do your grocery shopping there would you not?

I do that. I stop short of saying we have nothing in the house from China but, I shop at No Frills and check. What do you think I'm buying from there that is likely from China?

DbD thanks for info, you know nothing about me or my circumstances, or about my life in the UK before i came on this forum. If it means a differance buying in Zellers for $10 against $5 in Wal-mart.......I will shop in Wal-mart and pocket the rest for my family. I am not stupid just realistic, and my family come first NOT my Malboro.........

Happy Wal-Marting Christmas to you to

Maybe you should share the gin out? See if that improves the mood, and I think you are correct about missing point alley.

On second thoughts not the best idea, all the potential flouncers will be crying.

Joke everyone, Merry Christmas.....

Granted. But I know mine and am confident in saying I've been poorer here. No coat for two winters. No furniture for three years. Read all the Russians because their books were big and it meant less trips into the cold to the library. Six Molson Stock Ale to share once a week. It were so grim I could have been in Yorkshire.

Sorry,
Having battled from one side of Bolton, which took 30 bloody minutes in the snow. I got home and realised we have nothing alcoholic in the house, and nothing for tea, can't go to Walmart now.

OH will be battling home from Brampton soon and has to pass LCBO and the pizza parlour, so thats the morals intact for one more night.
