If it comes down to it, Swinson will abandon the 'revoke Art 50' stance if she goes into partnership with Johnson, and that will, almost certainly, lead to a 'no deal' Brexit. She'd sell her own mother to get a cabinet seat, abandon principles and policies, just like Clegg did. So a vote for the LDs is a vote for the Tories.

What a mess. I shan't be buying any of Sam Cam's frocks, that's for sure.

Any evidence for any of these claims ?

Well Johnson will certainly not agree to revoking art50, and partnership with the Tories is the only way she will get into government. Currently putting out leaflets with Headlines from papers, that never existed, she wrote the headlines herself, and YouGov polls in some seats, that NEVER happened, YouGov have said the have never done a poll there. So it really only shows her to be a duplicitous liar.

Any specific examples or is this just Daily Express style hearsay?

I don't think she's desperate to get into power other than to stop Brexit. I certainly don't see her doing any kind of deal with Johnson, why would she? Polar opposites.

As to duplicitous practices, the only one I have heard of is the Conservatives releasing a Facebook ad of Kier Starmer being asked a pointed question (to which he gave a decent reply) and then the doctored video showing him dumbstruck.

LD are an excellent choice for anyone who wants to remain, and running a fair campaign. If you're going slag them off then cite some specific examples.

Why are we discussing this?
They're all politicians, and politicians simply can't tell truth from lies or what behaving well means.
What's to discuss?

Quite, JS seems happy to use it as a pejorative though ...

Maybe this was doctored to look as though JS wanted a referendum on EU membership? Oh she was so young then though...

She should remember the last time LD went with Tories. What was left of them then? Does she want to repeat recent history?

Young politicians often follow the party line. But regardless of that, many people liked the idea of a referendum prior to 2016, myself included. Many underestimated the complexity of the issue, and in particular, the public's ability to process the issue.

I couldn't find the "six white men" tweet. Did she actually say that? Can't condone it if she did.

I'm surprised that JS has ruled out a Scottish referendum, but it may well be a clever strategy. What she's now offering is to return Britain back to "normality". No Boris Brexit chaos, no Corbyn infinite loop dithering, but a return to a whole Britain and full EU membership. I think this will be attractive to many.

Ohh come off it, at the Queens Speech she pushed herself forward to stand next to Johnson and looked at him with puppy dog eyes, when he gives speeches in the HoC she sits there nodding at everything he says, she has had a number of private meetings with him at No 10. When they were in partnership she voted for all the Tory motions, even those that were against LibDem promises.
