Just as well I never got my hopes up
For my money both Tevez and Ronaldo will still be there next year.
Ronaldo realises Real are pants and he wont win anything there, he has enough money to last a life time and he is getting cold feet about going to a losing team, even one with better weather.
Tevez is too expensive at the moment, but the longer Man U wait, the lower his price to Man U will become. Man U are just playing hardball because they know no one else is going to offer 25-30M for him....Remember they have already paid 10M deposit.
Still, i wouldnt mind seeing Tevez at Liverpool, if the price was right.

ronaldo i fear is beyond reasoning, real were no better last season than they are this, if he wants to play in spain, fair enough, but why on earth does he not look at barca. real in my opinion are well past their sell by date and living on past glories, i cannot fathom the appeal. i think he will go this time. i will miss him and i think the team will miss him, i fear for us next season without him to be honest.

i can see tevez staying, i have no idea how the buyout or his contract works, i expect given what we have paid at the moment, in the region of another 10-12 mil to solely control his contract.

I've read somewhere that Real have always been in debt despite their income, and that if the banks and creditors called in their loans that Real would be bankrupt, but that they wouldn't do it because no-one wants to bring Real down.

Isn't there another Presidential election at Real Madrid this year? I seem to remember someone promising Drogba going there if he was elected.

Not as bad as a Milan derby game. I thought you couldn't bring flares into football grounds anymore? I've even seen a Vespa scooter being thrown from the 2nd tier, how the hell do you get one of those through the Police lines?
