My two cents worth.
Well, if you are watching Newcastle....

On the otherhand some of the stuff Liverpool ManU and Arsenal have produced this year is totally at the other end of the spectrum.

That's hardly a stout defence of them. My work here is done anyway...

stout defence....a Freudian slip with regard to Newcastle obviously!

If (as seems likely) Newcastle stay up, will there be money available for the investment that is obviously required in some players with a bit of pace?

Unfortunately Arsenal haven't produced in some of the games where we've missed a Vieira-type player, against teams who don't want to play football.

Liverpool have shown again that they miss Gerrard whenever he doesn't play.

And Toon showed again today that when Owen plays they wish he was injured.

Can I interest anyone in a slightly used diminuitive ex-England ex-striker? Velly cheep.

I would bet that Liverpool have won more games without Gerrard than with this season. I can't be arsed working it out though.

Ha! Ye of so little faith shall reap the rewards of your perfidy. Not even the Toon could recreate the farce this season has been twice in a row. UEFA Cup place for us next year. 100% Fact!!

Not us. I doon't think Rafa Benitez wants him either.

Premier League - Liverpool have won 23 games so far this season, 11 at Anfield and 12 away.

Steven Gerrard has started or appeared as a sub in 29 Premier League games so far this season.

It going to be interesting to see where he ends up, will he renew his contract, go to somewhere like Wolves or will he end up over here as a designated player in the MLS. He's not shown that he is world class anymore, either that or he hates it so much at Newcastle he just can't be bothered.

Really? I still prefer to think of it as the Fairs Cup.

I've been away too long, I no longer have an interest in the game itself.
