On balance, prolly not.

I doubt Chelski would be worried either way. Good luck today.

Thanks, but too late.

That was the worst wrong call by a linesman I have ever seen. Pizarro was offside by at least 2 yards.

Robbed. :mad::mad:

Not the worst call I've ever seen though. As much as I dislike to admit it, Tottenham scored a perfectly good goal at Old Trafford three years ago that only the referee and linesman didn't spot. Tottenham Non-goal at Old Trafford

Thanks. Look on the bright side, you're still above Boro and the Mackem's so it's not all that bad.

I wish that bleeding linesman had done that about half-time.

Our thoughts are with his family, friends, club and their supporters at this sad time.

For gawd's sake Hook, how many other people have dropped dead today? What makes it special just because he played footy? I know he was young (35) but shit happens.

Well, that's it for 2007: Joey Barton in jail, Alan Smith claiming to have amnesia (who can blame him?). BSA being assured by management that he's secure in the job (yeah, riiight). Half the squad off to play in the Africa Nations Cup next week. Same old same old.

Roll on 2008 and glory! Haway the lads!

Thought I'd weigh in having been a stranded Pompey fan in Calgary. LOVE seeing the odd footy shirt wading around the city, there's not too many that's for sure.

The local Ship & Anchor was blatantly run by ex-pats as they had a scarf from nearly EVERY current or past Premier League footy club around the bar and EVERY British footy league printed out and updated weekly for all to look at, with stats and results. They screened televised games, opening as early as the law would allow. Of course there'd still be hockey on the telly for the rest of the day :) Also the first and only pub I've EVER seen with a big yellow "TAXI CAM" in the corner so you could keep an eye on the taxi rank outside! Ingenious!

I really feel for BSA as I LOVE the Newcastle fans, long overdue some success that's for sure. On the other hand, having long watched Pompey languish at the foot of Div 1 for many a year with crowds of 8,000 I am absolutely relishing this season.

'Arry Redknapp, best thing to ever happen to us. I'll enjoy it while I can!

Given the climate in todays Premier League he shoulda gone a few games back.

The board at clubs like Newcastle want results, and LAST season!!

I hope they don't chop him....
