Yup, not exactly the best time to try and make a good price on them is it...seems strange timing considering how long they have held out.

Unfortunately I doubt it. But they do seem to be trying to cut their losses. Americans owning football teams is just wrong.
Out of the CL might help the balance book in the short term...they wont attract any decent (expensive) new players, and some of the more expensive assets might get itchy feet and be cashed in on:( i wonder how many have champions league related escape clauses in this day and age. |

SAF has no complaints today for a change. From FA Cup dissapointment to defeating our two biggest rivals consecutively. As a Tottenham fan I have never felt so high. When I look back over the Chelsea game 2-1 really flattered them. It is very exciting times at White Hart Lane. When we get Lennon back in on the right and have Bale on the left we'll be a formidable side. It is now up to Tottenham to go and get 4th spot and it is well and truly in their hands. |

I am an Arsenal fan, but I'm not one of those rabid fans that believe we have a divine right to win anything. I believe that if the opposing team plays well they deserve to be told so. I treat other team's fans with respect because that's they way I'd like them to treat us even though some don't. It's the way I was brought up. As a Gooner, I may hate Tottenham, Chelski and ManUre football teams, but that doesn't mean I can't be friends with fans of those teams. Just don't expect me to be nice when we play them. :p |
