He's a victim of expectations.

To be fair thought that's bit like having two kids, where one is expected to attend Oxbridge while the other you're just happy if they can brush their teeth on their own.

The Oxbridge candidate is now academic.

Hmmm, if Redknapp had kept his gob shut about the England thing, in fact if he'd just kept his gob shut, we might not be such a rubbish situation.

Arsenal - Arsene Wenger (Sep 1996) - safe
Aston Villa - Paul Lambert (Jun 2012) - safe, based on they are doing better than last season
Cardiff - Malky Mackay (Jun 2011) - surprised he's lasted this long
Chelsea - Jose Mourinho (Jun 2013) - Roman wouldn't dare in season one, surely?
Crystal Palace - Tony Pulis (Nov 2013) - N/A
Everton - Roberto Martinez (Jun 2013) - safe as houses
Fulham - Rene Muelensteen (Dec 2013) - N/A
Hull City - Steve Bruce (Jun 2012) - could yet go
Liverpool - Brendan Rodgers (Jun 2012) - safe
Manchester City - Manuel Pellegrini (Jun 2013) - safe
Manchester United - David Moyes (May 2013) - er, er, don't know
Newcastle United - Alan Pardew (Dec 2010) - who bloody knows. Probably safe
Norwich City - Chris Hughton (Jun 2012) - I really hope he's safe, but could well go
Southampton - Mauricio Pochettino (Jan 2013) - safe
Stoke City - Mark Hughes (May 2013) - could yet go
mackems - Gus Poyet (Oct 2013) - should be safe, possibly more likely to walk?
Swansea City - Michael Laudrup (Jun 2012) - could go
Tottenham - position vacant
West Brom - position vacant
West Ham - Sam Allardyce (Jun 2011) - gone by Jan

I wonder who's next?

I've put my guesses next to them

Capello may not be a bad choice. I mean his club record is solid and actually he was excellent with England until they got to the World Cup.

My preference is Michael Laudrup but that is because we missed the boat on Martinez who they should have got originally.

Either way it's time Dawson was moved on and Paulinho needs a kick up the arse. He is meant to be a "Box to Box" midfielder. Also Akkotto never should have been sent out to QPR, we have played most of the season with out a left back.

I'd say Laudrup to Spurs.

For the sack I'd say Hughton.

Longest to shortest.

I agree with Mr weeze that Malky's days are numbered. Rumours around the club are that a Turkish manager is lined up for the job at the beginning of January.

Who the hell would want to manage them? Whoever takes on the Spurs job is going to have as much expectation as Moyes get from Utd fans, though the expectation is justified in Utd's case as they have a lot of recent history they'd like to continue.

Its a no brainer innit.

Unless be really pissed off his England assistant Franco Baldini who is now Technical Director at White Hart Lane. Spurs are wealthy enough to attract a mercenary like Capello.
