I find myself feeling a bit sorry for AVB. Spurs and Toon have identical records at 8-3-5 after 16 matches, but Pardew is not in any danger (at least at the moment) while AVB is highly likely to be gone before the transfer window opens.
He's a victim of expectations. |

To be fair thought that's bit like having two kids, where one is expected to attend Oxbridge while the other you're just happy if they can brush their teeth on their own.

Crystal Palace - Tony Pulis (Nov 2013) - N/A Everton - Roberto Martinez (Jun 2013) - safe as houses Fulham - Rene Muelensteen (Dec 2013) - N/A Hull City - Steve Bruce (Jun 2012) - could yet go Liverpool - Brendan Rodgers (Jun 2012) - safe Manchester City - Manuel Pellegrini (Jun 2013) - safe Manchester United - David Moyes (May 2013) - er, er, don't know Newcastle United - Alan Pardew (Dec 2010) - who bloody knows. My preference is Michael Laudrup but that is because we missed the boat on Martinez who they should have got originally. Either way it's time Dawson was moved on and Paulinho needs a kick up the arse. He is meant to be a "Box to Box" midfielder. Also Akkotto never should have been sent out to QPR, we have played most of the season with out a left back. |

I agree with Mr weeze that Malky's days are numbered. Rumours around the club are that a Turkish manager is lined up for the job at the beginning of January.

Who the hell would want to manage them? Whoever takes on the Spurs job is going to have as much expectation as Moyes get from Utd fans, though the expectation is justified in Utd's case as they have a lot of recent history they'd like to continue.

Unless be really pissed off his England assistant Franco Baldini who is now Technical Director at White Hart Lane. Spurs are wealthy enough to attract a mercenary like Capello. |
