I'm sure Chelsea fans and ManU fans still want a top-class manager, but Benitez still got Chelsea a trophy. Mind you, even Tim Sherwood probably could have if he'd been managing that Chelsea team!

A long way to go this season.

I thought that after Spurs sold Bale and bought in all those players, your midfield would have been harder to play against in the NLD earlier this season, but I'm happy they hadn't learned to play well together by then. If Sherwood can get them playing as a team, the return match will be a hell of a game!

Half way will be after Saturday's games have been played, if I remember correctly.

If you look at past winners (current arrangement and including top three) only players from Barcelona, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich qualify.

Liverpool successfully dived their way back into the game today.

Rogers doesn't shout about the referees when decisions go his way. Funny that.

Yes, that was particularly blatant by any standards. Isn't there a "d" in Rodgers?

I guess Moyes is the same, as are all mangers, players and fans.

Suarez did go down easy and seemed to want the keeper to make a move as he was heading away from goal.

Moyes is the same. Southampton were the worst saying they didn't want a particular Ref at their games and complaining.

This business of managers trying to intimidate referees in front of the media needs to end.

Fans will always push for their team to win and players will unfortunately always try and bend the rules. I don't mind as long as they don't go onto the media and witch hunt referees about it.

Rogers comments the other week were in poor taste as have been the antics of his team yesterday. Saurez and Sterling dive all over the place and referees should be able to punish it either during the game or after.

It looks like you've (collectively) stumbled on to a decent manager too.

Oh, and Moyes out.
