Admittedly an own goal by a welshman. Did you know that the French for Magpies is les Pies? Vive les Pies! doesn't sound quite right though. Les codes a barres? |

I think the role should be to focus on training facilities, youth development and scouting. The structure has failed time and again in the Premier League when the Director signs players the Manager didn't ask for. People point to the Madrid model but that only works because the players they sign are best in breed. Who would say no to Gareth Bale joining their club? |

The contract is only 18 months. It'll either be extended by August or Louis Van Gaal will be in charge. I wish Spurs would settle down a bit. We gave Jol 3 years and Redknapp 3 years. I think those are fair time spans. |
