No brains either.

The vision of seeing Terry and Lampard complaining to the ref (to no avail) at the end of the game (and Ballack) is one I will not forget. That was not a hand ball...for once, the Onion Bag guy got it right....the player had his back turned and it hit his upper back/shoulder and not cleanly his shoulder or lower on his arm.

Yea, Ballack should've been off for that (not that it matters ).

Probably off topic but I just popped out for a smoke on my patio and had the added privilege of watching a pair of ducks copulating in the swimming pool.

Mrs. Duck and Chelsea all on the same day. Sweet.

As a neutral I just hope for an entertaining tight game. Something like Chelshite 0-10 Barca would do.

Never made it back to work yesterday so have to be good today. ;)

Chelsea have only got themselves to blame. To defend to that extent when only 1 up beggars belief!!
The behaviour at the end was a total disgrace. Should be looked at by Fifa.

i hate to admit it but that is a sterling result for chelsea. i was looking forward to playing barca in the final this year, looks like chelsea again, got to fancy them to nip it 1-0 at home.

well i was spot on for 93 mins, unbelievable, chelsea were robbed, but have to agree they only have themselves to blame, they got away with it in barca, to expect to defend constantly like that again against a team like barca is/was dangerous.

barca utd final. now that will be a good game.

Re: The Toon Army / EPL thread

Is there any justification for the way certain chelsea players carried on yesterday? Seriously, I dont care how passionate and fired up you are, the games over, you lost. All they have done is come across like a bunch of millionaire 6 year olds throwing a tantrum when things dont go their way.

The real indicator of class is not how you behave in victory, its how you behave in defeat. Chelsea failed. Big time. And for the manager and captain to publicly defend certain individuals I find extraordinary.

For Terry to say they have 4 or 5 shouts for penalties, so at least some should have been given is ridiculous... I wouldnt say any of them was a nailed on certainty, and its totally beside the point, they were not given, the game goes on. They had plenty of chances to put it away and didnt, so they have only themselves to blame.

He also said (after the fact) that the ref should not have had the game as he had only refed 10 CL games before. Might be a reasonable point... if the ref hadnt actually taken charge in 24!

Some of them need to tale a long hard look at their own behaviour. If I was a Chelsea supporter I would be mortified by the total lack of dignity shown.

Hes just one bad apple though, and has been severly censured by the club.

Yesterday you had senior internationals like terry, lampard, ballack, drogba carrying on disgracefully..and now we get the inglorous sight of Terry and Hiddink saying that behaviour was OK!
