Back on the subject of cheese, Sobey's Sensations aged cheddar is consistently good, but also the same price as imported British cheddar.

It's certainly stacks up well against the chunk of Collier's Welsh Cheddar I invested in at Costco.

Tonight, pork loin with a nice brandy and peppercorn sauce....and!!! Masquerade potatoes! They are lovely, new, for us here, and from the Superstore. So far I've had them mashed and roasted and they were great, but tonight I'm going for baked! Try them if they come to your neck of the woods...well worth it.

I had sausages and mashed potatoes, swimming in onion gravy.
Edit: Well, more covered than swimming really, looked a bit like Mt Fuji.

Chicken wings, dosed with olive oil, s&p, chili powder, oregano leaves, garlic, cumin, then wrapped in bacon and baked. I heated Buffalo wing sauce and added a little shot of Jim Beam Black until just bubbling, had some dipped in that and some dipped in blue cheese dressing. Some I dipped in both.

Stepdaughter got some today. Also some mini versions of what appears the same but called Miss Blush.
