Re: Teatime Choices
Coq-au-Champagne is a real thing, look it up. :-) Someone poured one glass out of a bottle of Martini Asti at the fashion show last night and left it on the bar with a shot glass over it. This morning I came in to work early, corked and fridged it and expect it to work as well as mediocre white wine. The bottle's worth 40c, I don't see a down side. Went and got some fresh parsley and celery and it's on.:D

But I see your point about the 40 cent bottle of left over flat italian sparkly. |

Shouldn't the champagne actually be red wine?
The idea of cooking in champagne seems very strange. Once you've boiled the bubbles out all you're left with is mediocre white wine, which you might as well start with in the first place. I suppose your coq might appreciate the gesture though. |

If you wake up from a delirium in a couple of days, with a sore bum, you only have yourself to blame.

It rather worries me to contemplate that you are dealing with machinery and sharp bits of stuff every day.

Never go near the sharp or pointy or noisy stuff... I just walk round like the Queen, asking rough people how their day is going.

Yes, really. Here he is... what a handsome boy. :) And why might dbd33 not like that idea?

Re: Teatime Choices
Cute! Does he catch gophers?
Or is he in a gopher-free environment? Please forgive my ignorance but I've only been around one and it was a blur - Jack Russell on speed. |
