Kimchi jigae, or kimchi-tang... in other words, kimchi soup.

Absolutely delicious on a sleety February day.

Looks lovely.

I'd eat that except leeks are a good NZD $3 each here at the moment.

This evening is any old thing as himself is on an overnight civil defence exercises putting new recruits through their paces.

I think it will maybe be a pasta carbonara . I have the stuff for that

Am self-isolating tonight with a big pot of leek and potato soup and a bottle of Glenturret.

I had this for lunch so no tea. Salad, with broccoli, cherry tomatoes, red peepers, avocado, a boiled egg with some homemade sesame dressing.

I had soy and ginger chicken and rice for supper, because I thawed the chicken thighs out yesterday but didn't use them. Today (March 1) is National Pig Day and I did not eat any pork. I considered getting up and making a bacon sandwich just to get in under the wire, but it's not going to happen.

Did anyone else see a person in Caretakers "Thawed out the smoked pork, and had bbq pork tacos, refried beans, and chips." post? :D
