Mash (carrot & spud), giant tiger Swedish meatballs and home made onion gravy.

Lovely winter meal.

I had four steamed juicy pork dumplings and some Chinese tea without milk and sugar. Carbs and fat.

I made a chicken leek and mushroom pie. Chicken was leftovers but the leek cost a couple of dollars.

Pancakes of course...what else?

First with egg and bacon, second with baked apple and Devon Double Cream.

Pancakes should only come with either a smear of jam or , far far better, lemon and a little sugar IMVHO.

Himself , the great one that can eat pancakes faster than they can be dished up, is out this evening with civil defence and away all weekend from Fri eve. with civil defence, so no pancakes for him. Oh no. Not. Nope. Nah!
Maybe some for lonesome ole meeeee though and I will tell him all about them when he gets back I might even leave an empty dish with a few telltale bits on. Yeah!

Kimchi jigae, or kimchi-tang... in other words, kimchi soup.

Absolutely delicious on a sleety February day.

That would be a no. Yuk!

Even my Mother's stern commands to sit there until I ate it could not get it in the orbit of my mouth let alone inside. A few times was enough.

Even now *shudders*
