Best wishes with this course. I'm so pleased to hear you got a place. I hear it requires quite some work, but is really worth it.

It does. And unlike a lot of mental health offices in BC who do a shortend 4 week program, Vancouver mental health at VGH is doing the full 26 week program will full modules.

2 hours a week group skills and 1 hour every other week one on one therapy.

This program has come and done several times with funding issues so just happened I learned about this when I did or I may missed it.

Hopefully being a small group, you all get a bit more help than if there were more. Stay positive and hope you get stacks out of it.

Depending on the next 1-2 days, we may be leaving Vancouver, not sure if I'll be able to continue with the program if we move, but have to wait and see, will leave my job for sure though, not going to commute 2 hours each way for this job.

Yes it would not exactly be a move we desire but we may have no choice.

The month I was off really set us back and EI I received further set us back since disability was deducted dollar for dollar, so we got little disability this month.

Doesn't disability have a means of applying for hardship money? If not try the Salvation Army. Presumably you use the food bank for food?

Not really, they have some small supplements for things. We worked it out for August so okay for a few more weeks.

I am currently not working again due to an injury I sustained last week, not a work injury though.
