Who would of thought living within 30 meters of a farm came with so many rules. Mostly related to what plants you can and cannot have, and can't use any pesticides, bug killer, weed control, rodent control etc.

Canada Post may as well change the name of Express Post, there is nothing express about it. 4 days to go Kelowna to Vancouver is not Express in my opinion.

I've had several Express Post packages scanned into Kelowna post office or Lake Country on Fridays that didn't get tracked as in transit until Sunday night, so my guess is there's a bottleneck in Kelowna. The last Express Post packages I ordered from Vancouver and Kelowna on a Monday (scanned at post office the following day) arrived on Thursday and Friday, respectively, and the Express Post I send from Regina to Oliver every month usually takes 3 days, but sometimes 4. It can make a difference if I mail it in time for the early pick-up as well. Something that gets processed and on the truck before noon is probably going to delivered a day sooner than something still sitting in the regional office until supper time.

I would have used FedEx but I didn't have $35 but at least they can do it overnight. Ha ha

The mail packet I send for $13 - $15 on Monday morning that arrives on Wednesday or Thursday isn't time sensitive, so spending that much for overnight isn't in my budget. Offhand, I can't think of anything I send or receive that needs overnight delivery. Canada Post tracking now lists the expected delivery time as the extreme latest, (last time was mailed in Vancouver on Tuesday, expected delivery Monday) then was scanned and sorted in Regina early Thursday morning and expected delivery changed to Friday, then sent out for delivery mid-day Thursday at the last minute. That was 2 weeks ago, so the Christmas rush wasn't in full swing yet. During the rush they'll have contract drivers out in addition to the regular package vans and letter carriers to help keep it moving but we can expect delays anyway.

The document I sent is semi urgent, hopefully will make it back to me signed before end of the year, I was just trying to get it there as soon as possible, since the other party may not sign and return it quickly and holidays and such, so every day counts really...ha ha


Appears it may still be in Kelowna, there hasn't been any scan since the initial drop off scan yesterday around Noon.


Hardest part of house work is vacuuming and steam cleaning the floors, so much repetitive motions feels like I lifted 500 pounds over and over.... repetitive motion causes me a great deal of pain.

I paid 15.74 with tax.

Usually there is some scan movement by now, only scan is when I dropped it off, hasn't been scanned since. Still say's delivery by the 10th.

Amazon return I dropped off at the same time also has been scanned so I guess its just the norm mailing stuff from this area.
