Re: Random stuff - the anything else thread
Wal-Mart sells these chocolate bars for $1 CAD (approx 0.73 US$) and they are pretty good and on the front of the label have a Swiss flag and say product of Switzerland.
Doesn't seem like a place where it would be low cost to make a chocolate bar, was surprised the price was only $1. From what I could find some Swiss company named Coop is apparently making the bars. |

"Our Finest" Swiss chocolate bars are really good, I agree! You were lucky getting them at that price, they are usually $2. :D
The name brands are I think in the $3 to $4 range. |

I've recently just polished off two bars of "Lindt with a Hint of Salt". It should be placed on the Class A narcotics list.

I recall visiting friends in Switzerland in the mid 90's and getting the store bought brand at Co-op and it was much cheaper than Lindt or others and to me it tasted just as good.
All thing being equal, I'm expecting a delivery of Coop cheese (freezer being made ready) and some other Swiss delicacies in a couple of weeks time... |

OMG, i seem to have bought a brand new motorcycle. I pick her up tomorrow. Exactly 33 years after picking up my very 1st brand new bike. With sadness, I'm giving up on troublesome 2 strokes and going for something new and hopefully reliable. Eeek!

My friend just mentioned yesterday that he has an old Bonneville in the barn that only needs a simple fix.

I'm guessing a 2 stroke isn't something that needs your foot pushing down the starter pedal twice to get going.

And people wonder why ICBC rates are so expensive...ha ha
I have lived in several city's 2 countries, and I swear the Vancouver area has the worst drivers of anywhere I have lived. |

I had a way different perspective of cars and drivers from my time riding my scooter, I should never have sold it, but really opened my eyes to how bad drivers can be, luckily never had any close calls, but I learned to be hyper aware of cars and trucks, they do not see you when your on 2 wheels. |

Curious to know if you've now got the 'tattoo bug'? I remember getting one and then immediately wanting another...but I resisted and the feeling passed. |

Re: Random stuff - the anything else thread
I think the rear struts on the car are going, I hope its an easy fix and not that because damn would that be an expensive fix.

Those parts are normally cheapish, but the labour will cost $100+hr at a local mechanics. Probably 2.5hrs
Not entirely sure if that is the issue, just what I think could be based on google searching, a local place is going to take a look and do a diagnostic on Wed to see the exact issue. Guess its to be expected things will start to break, the car is 8 years old almost, so not a young spring chicken anymore. |

Bolsonaro confirmed the test results while wearing a mask and speaking to reporters in capital Brasilia, and said he is already taking hydroxychloroquine - an anti-malarial drug unproven to effectively treat COVID-19.
