Who are you calling smelly....? :frown:

This is Ollie, the sea otter- he lives a solitary life in amongst the kelp off Race Rocks, near Victoria. We met him on our recent trip- He has his own Facebook post..he is the only sea otter in the area...presumably Oink has done away with the rest

I never touched him Guv, honest. I've never hurt an otter in my life. I realize they're mercurial and curious animals. I'm just a bit cross with the consequences of otter interaction rather than anything else.

Brilliant photo. You should should submit that one to the local Okanagan WI photo competition.

Apparently they do make nice hats. ;)

I thought it looked a bit seaweedish but it all looked too perfect.

I prefer the one in the attached photo to the one in the link below. I knew without looking at the text in the link that this was going to be Alaskan.... Having been there, anything is ok in Alaska

Nice original post Bristol, very cute (although they are a member of the same family as mink and weasels) so, as Oink has suggested you wouldn't come off well if you tried to give them a cuddle
Nice musical accompaniment Oink....I'll give you bloody WI

Amazon says the add on items are too small and not worth shipping on their own.

But yet they always seem to ship them in their own box separate from the rest of the order.

So why not just let people buy those items alone?

I have yet to ever receive an add on item with the main order, they always come in their own box.

Snoop was feeling sorry for Derek the budgie- she treated him to a bigger cage and he loves it- he chats to his mate, Green Garry all day - he is well chuffed. We would let him out of the cage but he would probably break his neck flying into one of the large windows :(

A squirrel - well I assume it was a squirrel - has deposited a Brazil nut on the doorstep between the front door and the storm door. I have been trying to work out where it got the Brazil nut from and why it thought our doorstep was a good place for it!

I am going to leave it there.....

That's just what the squirrel said.

I know that because I read the subtitles.

Learned today our doctor who is in Chilliwack is leaving the practice as he is tired of commuting from Vancouver. Unfortunately he can't take his current patients to the new practice as it's a non-profit for homeless and addicts and you have to fall into that category to use the services of the clinic.

So the search for a new doctor starts so I can get prescriptions filled.
