Last time I had Bourbon (the one and only time) I had double vision. Bourbon biscuits are safe though.

I guess you were lying down, perhaps in a stupor, when you took that.

open in a new window or tab and it should right itself

Unlike the sangria on Sunday, this may require about 5 applications to get a full serving of fruit according to Canada's Food Guide.

The mini apartment we have turns into a little hot house when the weather is warm. 26c inside currently with the window open. Only 23 outside.

We get sun from the time it rises from the bedroom window, til evening via the front windows that face south.

Ordered something last month off Amazon US and today see they have refunded 0.03 US as the import deposit was less then the estimate. How kind of them to refund such a small amount...

There's an English bloke who's just moved into my building. Fair enough, but tonight as I was leaving, two wide boys with suspect tracksuits on, obviously British and obviously this cad's mates tried to get past me into the building without buzzing up. Now I'm not one for violence but I had to get rather stern with these two scallys and tell them to naff off and call their mate up instead of trying to sneak past. It's not like they could of go anywhere as the lift wouldn't have worked for them. Bunch of twats.

I've just spent a week making a hidden door (looks like part of a bookcase).

It was a bit harder than I imagined................

Uneven walls, floors and ceilings don't help.

It isn't quite finished but the rest will have to wait until next time I come up here.

You have just given me an idea - my new house might just be crying out for that!! But your comment about it being hard may stop that project before it even begins - but worth thinking about! Always need more bookshelves!

I was bored so did a little experiment out of curiosity.

I stained 2 old white wash clothes with several things. Beet juice, lip stick, vanilla extract and grass.

I washed one in Arm and Hammer detergent that was cheap.

I washed the other one in Persil.

Both in cold water, same amount of detergent, and a 1 hour cycle in front loader.

Both removed the grass stains and beet juice, arm and hammer did a better job with the lip stick vs persil, but persil did better at vanilla extract but it's still visible but heavily faded.

Persil does a better job at removing smells as I also rubbed an onion on the back side of the cloth and you can still smell faint onion smell on the cloth washed with Arm and Hammer.
