And ANOTHER expression I hear in the office a lot which is:

"I need to have all my ducks in a row" OR "now I have all my ducks in a row".

WTF is that?

I know what it means, but it's completely bloody ridiculous.

Ah, I have another "let's divide and conquer", which is as bad.

That is an English expression -

Fortinos, Loblaws, Stupidstore, All-Fart .... they're all quite dirty compared to UK ones. Not just the store itself, but the fruit and veg leaves a lot to be desired too ....

I've found the "grocery stores" here that i've been in are very clean - for me they would be :

Superstore
Fortinos
Longos
Wholefoods
Metro (although I'm not keen on that one)

There are the ones I hate, and dont go in

Freshco (not the Corrie one )
No Frills.

I shop in Brampton and Mississauga most weeks. Much prefer Wegmans when I get to the US occasionally.

Are all the supermarkets like this, or is it just in those areas for some reason?
