Not far off, that quote was $40 a USG. I qait for sales and have never paid more than $30 for a USG at Home Depot. Rona also put it on sale if one is desperate enough.

Looks like we pay in £ what you pay in $. Paint looks cheap in Canada. You just have bigger houses, perhaps?
Thats the same with some other items as well.

Eg: Go Pro Hero HD Uk price £299
Canadian Price $299......Go figure ehh?

Futty games on a Saturday, we used to be Season ticket holders at the mighty Blackpool FC, went to all home and most away games.

Have been to a few TFC games but it's just not the same as watching the Seasiders.

And the social acceptability of drink driving
How 'American' Canada has become (though they won't admit it)
Obsession with everything huge - houses, cars, trucks etc
Allowing kids to smoke weed on school perimeter
My kids having to sit next to other kids who have crawled out of bed and turned up at school in their PJs

My lad used to go to a scarborough, Ontario high school and smoking pot was rife there too. Not so much at his new school in Ajax.

Its like that in BC schools and I've visited a lot and you have to walk the gamut of the post smokers outside the school gate.
