Double Teenburger, lovingly hand-fed me by beautiful geishas, on snow with serfs fanning palm fronds. I'm charging time for this, too.

A couple of small (but rich) sandwiches, capocollo and butter with mayo. I couldn't wait to make my stew.

I microwaved pizza that they didn't sell at the bar last night. I was starting to get hungry and thinking what to do about it, and just then through the glass of the beer cooler I saw a bunch of wedge-shaped cardboard boxes stacked up and a post-it note on the front that said "Caretaker, take this pizza!" It's good pizza, too.

I think I know who it was, just had some more, only reheated in the toaster oven and it's much better. This is top-shelf pizzeria pizza from a local place - mostly ham and pineapple. a good score. I hate it when there's really good salvage and nobody takes the time to wrap it up and stow it, but she did last night. Sometimes we have platters of food left from events and if they're intact I'm often able to call the local soup-kitchen and drop it off. If it isn't enough to take there, or if the timing is wrong I can sometimes take trays of food down to the club where I have my after work beer and set it out for the gang.

I don't think I've ever had pho, is any good? I like ramen noodle soup from proper ramen noodle restaurants, not the packet stuff you lived on at college.

This one, just down from Green Lettuce. If you don't want pho' go to Green Lettuce, it's another of my favourites there.

Nice, I just had a bowl of this. I keep a couple of packets in a drawer as they don't need refrigeration. Just add hot water and you're done.

I finished off the candied salmon with a couple of little shots of Wyborowa while cooking spaghetti Alfredo with sausage and mushrooms (a little oregano leaves, a little of the good rosemary). Had a glass of reddo with that baby. I may not want supper tonight, this should be plenty.

Heated up last night's beef pepper mushroom and onion skewers with the extra sausage from breakfast, with a little chili-garlic sauce on the side, hit more than a few spots!

I ate the leftover chicken wings cold and made a dish of very tasty guacamole and had that with crackers, then I mixed myself a double sangria full of fruit and ice in a big old pint glass. I'm calling that dessert.

I had A&W burger and chips and root beer for lunch, (Mama Burger combo), then took a bunch of peaches and cherries I brought back from the Okanagan to the club and treated everyone up while I had a couple of beers. I brought 3 cases of peaches and a case of cherries back, and should have brought another case of peaches, they're fantastic.. picked on Thursday morning. The stores here have nothing like it, both peaches and cherries are far bigger and tastier than theirs.

I started work so early there was no breakfast for me :(, so now I'm having stuffed chicken breasts, a big salad, bratwurst, and in light of the holiday (I Love Regina Day), I'm celebrating our cultural diversity by drinking some Scotch, och aye!

HID is in Saskatoon this weekend. She asked a couple of days ago whether I'd like to go. I still haven't quite stopped laughing. For lunch today, I'm having a large piece of one of the Chinook (king) salmons I caught yesterday. The other ones are at the fish processor. I caught two 16lbs, one 18lbs and late in the day a 25lbs hog. I know what you're about say, that's too many on a single license but I had two other's on my boat and it is my boat, my petrol, my beer and my Doritos so I got the fish.
