I knew nobody would want to go out for lunch because it's cold so brought last night's left over chicken curry to nuke. While policing up the bottles from Saturday's sold out show I found that the band had left me a big bottle of Bushwakker IPA in the greenroom. Aaaahhhh.

There's been an external and unilaterally imposed moratorium on takeaways so its a skinless chicken breast on a green salad plus a mango, cherry and spinach smoothie for pudding. :(

Does the spinach enhance the mango cherry? Sounds an odd combo.

I like spinach, but that sounds dreadful. Would it not be better to just eat the spinach with the chicken?

I don't like spinach so its nutritional goodness is apparently masked by the sweetness of the fruit. By the looks of the container, I suspect there are other things in this concoction that haven't been declared. :frown:

I'll have you know that this dish is the height of sophistication, in it's town of origin.

Cup-a-Soup. Cream of chicken. I was going to go for one of those Asian knock offs of Pot Noodle but its one of those days that needs authenticity. Lovely!

That's uncanny, I had a noodle bowl with added bok choy, onion, cilantro and a sliced Scotch egg..... I have to use these powers for good!

I was having a rubbish day as I wanted to take the afternoon off to go and watch a film but some conceited, uncooperative, narsasistic twollop has decided that we needed to wait in for some apparatchik from down south, so I thought of the soothing qualities of Cup-a-Soup.

I am afraid I must confess to a Teen Burger Combo today.

Why do they keep issuing coupons? It's a conspiracy.

Is it just me or does anyone else think the names A&W gives to their burgers seem rather creepy?

Either creepy or possibly double entendres and innuendos relating to a threesome...

Mr. Saville would have been proud...

Chicks, booze and drugs aren't rockn' roll but a nice warming Cup-a-Soup is brilliant. Kids, don't listen to Mick Jagger or The Marshall Tucker Band, open your sachet and pour in some boiling water.

Empty soup into your mug. Add 3/4 cup of BOILING water, let stand for a minute. Enjoy.

You forgot to stir furiously to prevent the sachet contents from fusing themselves to the bottom of the mug.

Now change hands and carry on doing that! ;)

Rather a nice Italian in Unionville today for a work lunch. Excellent antipasti, arugula and pecan salad, fusilli with very tender beef, tartufo for dessert. And the boss paid. Hurrah!

I'll tell you what they should do, they should rename those "Fibre 1" bars to "FART ALL EVENING" bars.
