We binged Oazark season 4 part 2 over the last few nights. Some interesting / sad outcomes, and I felt it ended in a manner similar to The Soprano's, and so we have to guess what will happen from then on. There is one character I truly wish would have met their end, but, alas, it was not to be

Will probably finish up Slow Horses tonight, and it's been great so far, and I too am tempted to listen to the audiobooks, and very happy it's picked up for another season.

Also have Moon Knight to watch. I really not sure about this one. It's weird and interesting, but baffling at the same time. I'd never heard of it before, and I'm not a big comic book person, so perhaps it is very well known, but just seems an odd thing to turn into a series.

Also watched Vikings: Valhalla. I've watched some of the original Vikings and it's pretty good, this follow-up was just as good. We did somewhat spoil things for ourselves when we happened upon a viking exhibition over the weekend as it made references to some of the characters and what became of them

We did finish up Slow Horses, it didn't disappoint and cannot wait for the next seasons.

I need to catch up on Star Trek: Picard season 2. I've been enjoying it. Q being back is great, and you never get tired of the Borg either.

....
How would you compare V:V with "The Last Kingdom"? We're working our way (2 episodes a night) through TLK right now and quite enjoying it, so V:V might be a good future option.

I've not watched TLK, only the original Vikings. I guess I might need to have a look at TLK.

I do also want to give Norsemen another try, and from what I recall the first episode was rather amusing.

I’ve not watched Vikings simply because I have watched The Last Kingdom. The source material - the Bernard Cornwell novels - is really good and that has carried through into the tv series. (See also “Sharpe” from the 1990s)

I thought Norsemen was really good - all three seasons.

For anyone who's planning to watch 'The Last Kingdom', here's a quick guide to some of the very confusing names!

AEthelwold – nephew of King Alfred

AEthelred – Lord of Mercia who marries AEthelflaed (King Alfred’s daughter)

AElswith – wife of King Alfred (but not designated queen)

AElfric – Uhtred’s uncle

AEthelstan – formerly the warrior Guthrum

That's just the AE's, and not even all of them ...

Another for Slow Horses, eagerly anticipating season 2.

We started watching "The Bay" on BritBox. Pretty good. Characters aren't quite as foolish as the ones in the Harlan Coben series' we have watched.

We also did give Norsemen another go, think we're up to episode three of season one. More amusing that I recall, so we'll keep at it.

Quite different but similar...You might want to give Beforeigners a go.

I finished Ozark the other night. Can't give too much away but it was a fairly decent end to the show.

That "I saw the Light" scene was heavily influenced by many scenes in Breaking Bad I thought.
The contrast in the jolly tune and the beating.

I've just wrapped season 2 of Beforeigners, most enjoyable.

Wikipedia tells me this:

that we get to see a season 3, as the final episode of season 2 moved things on quite a bit.

Yes I saw that.
I use my bookmarks for stuff like this - folders for stuff to watch, what I'm currently watching and so on...and then one where I move them to check future seasons every now and then.
I still can't find Season 8 of Beck even though it's been on already.

I like the integration programs in Beforeigners and the idea there's an Ombudsman for them

"No room for Timeism"...I wonder if there will be any footballers taking the knee for that.

We are watching The Boys (ok, so I'm *re*-watching it, L hasn't seen it until now), in prep for season 3.

Started Stranger Things season 4 part 1. Wow, it's gone full on horror for this season. Still as good as past season, and I'm very curious to see how it plays out.

Also watching season 3 of Barry, still a great show.
