She's going to walk alone except for her child attendants from the main door to the entrance to the Quire where Charles will meet her and escort her to the altar.

Seemingly that is what she planned to do with her father.

I can't imagine what chaos might ensure as she is alone with all those children ranging in age from 2 to 7 or 8

I got up at 3am and was not disappointed, what a modern Royal Wedding it was.

I didn't watch it the whole way through, but was up anyway so caught a lot then had to get ready for work. No prosecco and the only sparkling wine I have is a rose' so substituted Drambuie on the rocks.

Is refreshing to see a day long news cast that isn’t terror or murder related

I was up at 5:30 am with the delightful sound of my dog being sick on the bedroom floor! So I decided to stay up and make tea and was not disappointed...what a positive, enthusiastic event...it didn't feel like anybody was being dragged down the isle. I am not a chick flic viewer or someone who usually says 'ahh' but this pair made me feel warm and good. A cracking Bishop Currie and super young Musician just added more sparkle. A thoroughly enjoyable spectacle that Britain does so very well.

p.s. this new format won't let me correct my typos...a most unfriendly piece of kit:unsure:

My wife was up early to watch. I didn't care about the wedding so I chose sleep.

I didn't watch it though I happened to be awake for about 4 hours between about 3am and 7 am Pacific time ........... I was too concerned with trying to go back to sleep.

I've caught little bits on the news, and it seems to have gone off perfectly, just what they wanted for their wedding.

I loved her two dresses .......... simple, plain, beautiful and perfect for the wedding and then for the party.

And how nice it was to see how well the Royals treated Meghan's mother.

Millie .............. I have the same Edit button as before on the bottom line, next to the Quote tab. I tried it on my last message, and it let me make a change. But I think you have a limited time.

Yes, but I've already got 10. Will it fit on a toe?

Bishop Currie? No wonder so many looked bemussed. Was he ever going to stop! Almost a rant on occasion....five minutes worth would have been more than sufficient for this pilgrim. However what they wanted and I suppose he did stop short of foaming at the mouth....:) ;)

Not sure what to make of his sermon (the small part that I heard). While it was going on, the royals and establishment seemed totally aghast, and yet in the papers today, the Bishop and sermon are being celebrated as a exciting breath of fresh air.

The only smirk I saw was on this one, proving that money does not equal class:
I was sad because I had no shoes, and then I met a man with no class.

That post takes the record for the longest ever on BE! I've put a link to it on the Upgrade thread with a brief description of the problem, caretaker.
