So are non essential stores still open? And if they are 7 am to 8 pm is quite a long timeframe.
It's changed because these restrictions were not in operation for the last few months.. plus as I mentioned, there are OTHER restrictions as well.

Yes. It's not so easy to see and dodge the aerosols when it's dark out.

Although if you wear night vision glasses you can see them, plus they can't get in your eyes.

FAQ for Ontario re 'stay at home' order - issued to reporters and news agencies (I found it on several reporters twitter accounts, I can't find it anywhere else) - there's 4 images in total with all the FAQ's - click on the tweet on Twitter to open the first page fully - then pan right using the arrow

Some getting tickets in Montreal because they got off work late and were out after curfew even though they had their employment authorization letters with them and apparently police are using the curfew stop to search persons and their property.

In 1970 when the FLQ crisis prompted Pierre Trudeau to bring in the War Measures Act, the Montreal police used the convenience of no-warrant arrest powers to haul in every mafioso they could find. It was like Christmas for them.

It's precisely this idiocy with bothers me with Covid 19 laws.

Masks, no gatherings, not meeting others, working from home, that's all understandable. However the virus doesn't stop or begin just because it's evening.

And what happens if your car breaks down, or if you get stuck in a traffic jam? Risking an accident or demerit points just to make it home before the curfew.

They might just operate as in "Stalag 13". Anybody who is out and about after lights out will be shot.

It does not take too much imagination to see how such powers could be abused on a significant level.

Those big stores in retail parks (as opposed to indoor shopping malls).

Is it not just a store - usually big ones - that sells stuff in big boxes?
Appliances, lawn mowers, flatpack furniture, computers, DIY stuff and larger DIY tools etc
