If you were in Canada, you would know that there's no point in trying to avoid people who have recently been to China, lots of people have recently been to China.

The building I live in in france here is in an extremely dense urban neighborhood where in my building alone are several Chinese students. My neighborhood is so multicultural compared to anything in Canada I ever saw it is lieterally over the top and very multiracial, with many africans, some muslim, some christian africans.

I wouldn't be surprised if the virus is already in the Vancouver area but just not known yet, appears people not showing symptoms can still spread it, and in mild cases is very similiar to a cold so someone infected and only showing mild symptoms may not seek medical assistance and continue their daily activities.

Based on the age range in that article seems over 55 crowd are the most likely to die.

With 20 something flights a day to/from China from YVR, its only a matter of time before it is here, it's already in Washington state so already in the region.
