That's odd, you have a full head of hair in your photo.

SD had her first proper day back at work yesterday - after a bit of training on new procedures last week followed by opening to privilege customers.
She works retail at HomeSense.

Apparently they had a line-up of people waiting to get in stretching back to Dollarama.

The other side of HomeSense is Atlantic Superstore where there were no line-ups.

Priorities, eh?

Although, to be fair, people have had plenty of opportunity for grocery shopping, less so household stuff.

Although I suspect most of us are adhering to the advice that our Provincial Health Officers and The Federal Experts how do feel about this person from New Brunswick

Three more COVID-19 cases in Cambellton, N.B., have been linked to a medical professional at the local hospital who contracted the coronavirus outside the province and didn't self-isolate when he returned. This person, who travelled to Quebec for personal reasons, "was not forthcoming about their reasons for travel upon returning to New Brunswick and they did not self-isolate as a result," At least 150 people were exposed to the medical professional, including 50 health-care workers at the Campbellton Regional Hospital and 100 people in the community, said the head of the Vitalité Health Network.

Yes FL but you are sadly behind the times...just double that number now...it’s 6 as of this evening...we had done so well, and this really isn’t fair, and it’s why we all have to stay attentive...

Named and shamed on social media already.

For 3 to have turned into 6 already I imagine it'll be a fair bit more by the time of tomorrow's daily announcements.

Much depends on when he actually picked it up in relation to his return but for anyone to have been infected in the first week of his two weeks with patients and other staff, I would have expected many more to have become symptomatic and tested positive by now.

Another health worker too.. That's two. I can't help wondering if it's the parents of the kid. They were described as health workers too.

.
Actually it might just be be three today. CBC's website made it sound like three announced today and then there was a report - as if later- saying three more making six. But I think the 6 are made up as follows:

A few days ago after a second long period with no cases at all, they announced the child and the person over 90. That made two.
Next came the announcement about Doctor Cretin who didn't isolate after misleading border people as to his reasons for travelling. Makes Three.
At this point they said to expect more in the coming days.
Today they announced three. That makes six but includes himself and two from a few days ago.

So the "more we expect" has so far only been three. As I said in my earlier post people were exposed to him (just over?) two weeks ago, which is long enough for however many he saw in the first week to have developed it, if they were going to, and to have become symptomatic and test positive.

Now we wait to see if he's passed it to anyone else and whether the recipients have passed it. Those around the child and 90 year old have already been tested and escaped so we might get off light.

It's taking a toll on youth and jobs. Many students may not be able to save sufficient funds for their fall studies with so many usual youth employers not hiring, and in more than one case not planning to even operate this summer.

Ahem.
So they have now revealed that Doctor Cretin is the father of the child that tested positive last week. Last week the parents "couldn't understand it as they had followed all guidelines"...apart from going to Quebec, lying about the reasons so he didn't self isolate and then saw patients for two weeks.

Two new cases today making 8 active. 2 of the 8 in ICU. Could be a lot worse. Could still be.
