Vicky's in Newfoundland was a shock to me. After years of dragging back IPEXs and Miracles and whatnot from low tax states I wandered into a Vicky's down there, list and Angel card in hand, and was confronted by racks and racks of plaid pyjamas. It was as racy as the M&S sleepwear department.

Almost anything is.
By the way your "prestigious university" is presumably UNB? I think you'd have a hard time finding consensus among academics for that point of view.
There's nothing particularly embarrassing about the place, but "prestigious" is quite a stretch.

Kate, your posts illustrate how spelling doesn't really matter when you know how to use language to paint a picture. You punctuate with emoticons
which means that there isn't an endless stream of text. I don't think of your posts as full of errors, more a joy to read, a breath of fresh air.
Maybe you could teach us all Katespeak?

Thats a good response L and very true - the use of humour can mask a multitude of sins (sins in others eyes I hasten to add, as I don't really give a toss about peoples spelling grammar or otherwise ((unless they are posting a thread criticising others when theirs is just as bad!)).

You are probably right, although I was thinking more of the Creative Writing and English course which is widely perceived as being in top 2 or 3 in the country.
Regardless, I like it!
