re edit: bugger. Will the vintner take it back? I know that doesn't address the immediate problem but would at least allow you to savour it another time...

Unfortunately I doubt whether either the vintner will take back your bottle or the OP will take back his opening and indeed following statements, on the grounds of "oh well sh*t happens".

Empire Club? Vintner? Bloody hell, I bought it at the railway station.

Kate, your posts illustrate how spelling doesn't really matter when you know how to use language to paint a picture. You punctuate with emoticons
which means that there isn't an endless stream of text. I don't think of your posts as full of errors, more a joy to read, a breath of fresh air.
Maybe you could teach us all Katespeak?

Personality rules indeed, but its more than that. Honesty by itself doesn't make for good reading necessarily. Someone else could write about the same things as Kate and it just wouldn't be the same.
I think she should have a newspaper column. I would read it.

.........Kate says what she thinks and thinks what she says. In my book thats honest...........And she is blessed with a great personality........but if you care to read the response to some of her early posts...then you will see sometimes personality gets over looked.

Unfortunately, it's one of those things that becomes so over-used that it becomes accepted.

Oh my goodness. This thread seems to have jumped from a mere spelling mistake to an all and out grammar war!
Whilst I myself have nothing against the odd spelling mistake, believing most of them to be just a quick written typing error, I do however admit to a perosnal dislike of OF instead of HAVE.
