The ones in the UK likely come from Italy, with it being the top Kiwi grower
Top 10 Kiwi Producing Countries
In Canada, I've seen them in the supermarket from Chile & the USA
As for the Kiwi polish, maybe the check country of manufacturer on the can

Opted to exercise my right to change the menu and save the salmon for supper. I just had sausage and eggs over easy on toast, mushrooms, chips and beans, salsa verde and ketchup. I can see myself working through lunch hour now.

A "cleansing" green tea and an orange. All real people are advised not to approach me until after lunch.

If I'd opened a different can and made refried black or red beans it wouldn't be.. I throw a shot of wooster sauce in when heating baked beans too (last step in cooking this). Salsa's good for the blood and beans are great roughage so no guilt is involved. I like making my own tortillas lately and want to hit up Superstore for some bulk cornflour, Wholesale Club's been out of it in bags for ages, flour tortillas are good too though. A batch of tortillas using a mug of flour, dash of salt, spoon of oil and water means about 4 meals, cooking it saves $3 and feels rewarding, especially when it starts working like it should. In one of the Carlos Castaneda books when Don Juan (or Don Genaro, not sure) was in a fancy restaurant in Mexico City he ordered tortillas and beans even though that's peasant food, because that's what he wanted and you can't change some things.

I had soft boiled eggs, toast, broiled salmon with tarragon butter and a handfull of chips, coffee. A small cleansing shot of Bushmills now to settle the meal.

Leftover veg curry. And fresh croissants.
Not my best ever weird breakfast combo.

I had sausage egg and chips in 1980. Not the oddest choice but not the best choice just before setting out to hike up the Kirkstone Pass. We wanted something hearty and expected a variant on a typical English breakfast not knowing chips were included.

I was just about to ask if you'd got the wrong thread.
