wife is sick with a bad cold so she skipped breakfast. I had a slice of toast with lemon curd along with a cuppa tea.

Hmm, just hoping I can make it to the lunchtime thread.

That sounded good, so this morning we've had corn cakes, chopped tomatoes (not enough ingredients to make a proper salsa), jalapeños and refried beans, all topped off with a fried egg. And rather good it was, too.

I spiced and braised a pork tenderloin this morning and had a hot pork sandwich on rye with gravy and chips and a beer. What? I didn't make any stupid resolutions.

More pork goes down, I had the Mexican breakfast sandwich on toast, thinly sliced pork with green onion, cilantro, jalapeno, sauteed with a blast of sriracha and topped with melted cheese and a scrambled egg, salsa verde.

Multi Grain Cheerios, a few blackberries and skimmed milk. Delish.

And a slice of Mahon cheese.
